Hey Matt, I'm a student at Shorewood High School, in Shorewood, Wisconsin. The one you're coming to on April 12th. For one of my Graphic Design projects I made a poster for your arrival. While making this poster i checked out some of your work and I think it's outstanding. I really like the concepts of all your art, they inspire me in my works. Also I wanted to ask where do you get your inspiration or ideas for your work? Well keep being awesome and doing what you're doing.
Hi there. I really like the poster you composed with my art images. It’s pretty wild!
My art concepts come from a variety of sources… some are sort of natural continuations of concepts I have going in a series, like my animal mask art, my posters you sourced in the layout you made, and a lot of my zombie/monster drawings… a lot of my other ideas are very fleeting. Small snippets of ideas that are very immediate and in need of immediate commitment to paper. And a fair share of other art I make is created in collaboration with bands, or individuals who have a core concept in mind and give it to me to make into a final piece of art. Some artists never like having elements, or at times entire concepts for art dictated to them by someone else, but personally, I think it is helpful for numerous reasons. As for why I am so drawn to things like monsters, masks, and zombies? That is a tough question, but it probably has its origins in the fact that I have a bit of a warped mind, and dark sense of humor.
Thank you so much for your question! You have no idea how much I am looking forward to April 12th. I think there is going to be some amazingly deep discussion and thinking going on.
Have a great day!
